Photo digitization is an essential project for protecting your family memories. Every year, your photos can fade and lose their color or get damaged. No one wants to think about an unexpected leak or house fire ruining their memories, but this is a reality for countless Americans each year.

Our team at Memory Fortress intentionally offers some of the best photo scanning prices on the market because we understand how important this project is. You aren’t just digitizing your photos, you are preserving your family history and cherished memories for decades to come. You are also making your images more sharable so you can bring your family closer together.

If you are still in the research part of your digitization project, check out the process and prices of working with Memory Fortress. We aren’t afraid of our competitors. We know we offer fair prices and even better customer service than anyone else on the market. Here’s what you need to know about our pricing.

How Our Photo Scanning Prices Work

There’s one thing you need to know about the photo scanning prices at Memory Fortress: the more photos you need to digitize, the more you save. As your order gets larger, we charge less on a per-photo basis. This means you can confidently ship us your large photo-scanning project and know that you are saving money in the process.

If you have 1,500 photos that need to be scanned, we charge a base rate of $0.63 per photo to receive the digitized copy at 300 dpi. (There is also an option to receive them at 600 dpi.) Our prices continue to drop until you reach the 10,000 photo threshold, where we charge only $0.55 per photo. This means you would save nearly $800 over the course of your scanning project just by working with Memory Fortress

You can also decide how you would like your photos delivered. Cloud delivery of your photos is only $10 for the entire project. You can also opt to receive your digitized photos on flash drives, which can range from $12 for a standard 8 GB drive up to $65 for a 256 GB drive. For reference, one 16 GB USB drive can hold around 10,000 photos, so we should be able to store your entire project on one device.

Once you have an idea of the scale of the project and how you want your memories stored, you can set a budget for your photo digitization plan.

We Offer Seasonal Sales

Not only do we offer some of the best photo scanning prices on the market, but we also further discount our services with seasonal sales. Summer is a huge time for our company because so many people work on digitization projects while the kids are at school or when the weather is too hot to go outside.

We currently have competitive summer prices where we can scan your loose photos for highly discounted rates. Some digitization categories are nearly half off in some cases, which means you can save considerably on your entire project.

Our Summer Sale won’t last more than a few weeks, so make sure you start your order today and prepare to ship us your photos. (If you are reading this and it isn’t summer, check our Pricing page to see if there’s another season deal you can take advantage of.)

We Make Recommendations to Help You Save

Our pricing is based on the amount of labor it takes to complete various scanning projects, which is why we are happy to make recommendations to help you save money. For example, it costs significantly less to send loose photos for us to scan instead of shipping entire photo albums to our headquarters. This is because it takes more time for us to remove each photo, scan it, and replace it exactly as it was in the photo album. We are happy to do it, but if you create less work for us, we can help you save money.

Furthermore, sending loose photos instead of albums can help you save double by cutting down your shipping costs. While we pay to ship your memories back to you, you still need to send them to us. Some albums are bulky and heavy, with embellishments that will weigh your boxes down – thus driving up the shipping costs. You can seriously reduce your photo scanning prices by simply sending us grouped photos instead of albums.

By the way, if you live near Duluth, Georgia, your shipping costs can be eliminated entirely. You can drop off your photos at our main office if you call ahead first to let us know you are on your way.

We will do our best to offer savings tips so you can spend less on your digitization project. We know that we stand by the quality of our services and are happy to help make this process more affordable.

Active Military and Veterans Can Save Even More

If you are an active duty military member, veteran, or supporter of our armed forces, you can save an additional 5% off your entire order – regardless of your digitization needs.

We know how precious memories can be when you are serving abroad or are simply away from your family during a long-distance base assignment. Receiving digital photos and videos of loved ones can motivate you to continue serving your country.

If you are trying to digitize these memories for a loved one in the armed forces, let us know so we can add the discount as well. If we can help boost the morale of our men and women in uniform, we will do everything we can to support you.

Not only does this 5% discount apply to you, but it applies to anyone you refer as well. Just let us know which category you fall into when you place your order.
